Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Having Tender Breast Along With Negative UPT?

I recently had unprotected sex my ovulation day was June 14th. I took a pregnancy test because I been kinda cramping but my period is not due until July 8th. The test came out with a slight positive sign on Monday I took another one and the same thing came a slight line, I also went to get a blood test done. I received the results and it says negative. Last mestrual period began on June 3rd. Is it too soon to find out also why am I having pains in my side and my breast feel tender.

Hello,

The blood test Bhcg is more accurate than a urine pregnancy test. the positive result test you received is possibly a false positive test. you are having cramping, pain and breast tenderness which can be signs of the coming period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
